In early 2008 Antonio Garcia envisioned creating a restaurant where he can share the family recipes that he used to eat back home. And the idea began to open Tarascos, He found the perfect setting for his restaurant in the up & coming Village of Silver Lake. The artistic resurgence that was starting to lourish & the bohemian indulgences were the perfect fit for his idea & terrific Mexican food. By 2009 his vision had become a reality on the corner of Sunset Blvd & Micheltorena St. The restaurant look, decorated personally by Antonio mirrors his passion for his roots, he wants people to eat his delicious recipes that are a combination of his childhood. Mom from Merida Yucatan & Dad from Morelia, Michoacan had different ideas about flavor & both created a terrific new Mexican cuisine that you can try now at Tarascos Mexican Restaurant.
